Health and Safety Policy
Service Elite is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and customers. In order to achieve this, we have implemented the following policies and procedures:
Clear the Area: Customers are required to clear the area around the appliance to be repaired in order to ensure that the repair can be conducted safely. This includes removing any debris, clutter, or obstacles that may present a tripping hazard.
Pets: Customers are required to put pets away for their safety during the repair service. Appliances use and store high voltage (in components such as capacitors), and pets may be at risk of harm and injury if they come into contact with electrical components. Additionally, some of our technicians may be allergic to pets such as dogs and cats, and we want to ensure their health and safety as well.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Our technicians will always wear appropriate PPE when conducting appliance repairs. This may include gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear as needed.
Hazard Control: We will take appropriate steps to control any hazards that may be present during the repair process, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Safety Training: Our technicians receive regular safety training to ensure that they are aware of the hazards associated with appliance repair and how to mitigate these hazards.
Proper certifications and training: We make sure our technicians receive the proper training and acquire the needed certifications for jobs to be always done professionally and safely.
Incident Reporting: Any incidents or accidents that occur during the repair process must be reported to the supervisor immediately.
